Ok a few of you might recall the leaked Kinect ads I posted a couple weeks back. Yes they were rough around the edges but you could atleast see the theme they were going for with the ads. Microsoft immediately had them removed. Well now they're back and much more polished than before. Combine these with the recent exposure from Oprah how do you feel Kinect will fare this holiday? Microsoft usually does a very good job of getting their products recognized. Looking at what they were able to do with the 360, the Kinect will most likely sell very well this holiday season. One thing about that though, because of the limited list of games that actually support the kinect, I do not believe it will sell very well right away with some of the more hardcore gamers like myself. The focus of the kinect so far seems to be more geared towards family games much like the Wii. This will most likely disinterest most of the more action game focused out there until the Kinect is able to floor a game that features the fast paced environment of Call of Duty and other such Games.
